Screen Shot 2013-05-07 at 15.08.05You can now watch your pizza being handmade and cooked with Domino’s Pizza’s brand new live streaming online service. Customers can now watch a live video from inside a Domino’s Pizza kitchen, where several pizza cams have been rigged up in the oven and over the preparation area so you can tune in to your toppings! The live stream is being broadcast at . Every stage of the pizza making process can be watched and tracked online, from the making of the dough base to the topping being laid on and the final cooking of the pizza. The store being used as the pilot for the scheme is in Salt Lake City, Utah, and is the only one out of Domino’s 10,300 worldwide stores to have the live streaming facility. The unique and innovative online platform will be up and running throughout May, and offers customers an uncut glimpse of their (or someone else’s) pizzas being prepared.

Russell Weiner, Domino’s Pizza chief marketing officer, said: “We at Domino’s have made continued efforts to open our doors and be as welcoming as possible,”

“This is simply the next step, and we are very excited to merge the visual tradition and spirit of the pizzeria with today’s digital capabilities.”

He also said that the move sets Domino’s apart from other pizza chains.

“No matter what, we remain committed to being transparent and welcoming – and that is what this is all about,” he added.

Staff will have to be on their best behaviour as every action will be filmed and streamed live!

The streaming will be broadcast between 7:30 ET and 12:30 ET, as that is when the store is busiest, so be sure to tune in then.
