The multi-award winning director, Quentin Tarantino decided to throw a pre Oscar pizza party ahead of the big event last weekend.

The cast of the director’s latest blockbuster, Inglourious Basterds were all invited along to the bash to celebrate ahead of the Academy Awards.

The movie has been nominated for 8 gongs at this year’s event including the award for Best Picture, Best Original Screenplay, Best Director and Best Supporting Actor for Christoph Waltz who plays the villain in the action packed film.

According to actor Eli Roth, who plays Donny otherwise known as “The Jew Bear” in the film, the whole cast were a little worse for wear walking the red carpet at the glittering Hollywood event following the pizza party at Tarantino’s house.

The cast of the multi-Oscar nominated movie, Inglourious Basterds, were treated to copious amounts of pizza, red velvet cupcakes and champagne ahead of the big event. The actors, including Eli Roth, Christoph Waltz, and Diane Kruger, were entertained with 70’s hits as Tarantino took to the decks to get the party started.

Since the party kicked off at 2pm, the high profile cast were definitely in a celebratory mood by the time it came to walk the red carpet with actor Eli Roth announcing “we’re wasted” as he made his way into the Kodak Theatre ahead of the awards ceremony; possibly a case of too much champagne and not enough pizza.
