An Italian restaurant owner from Hemel Hempstead wants to launch his new business venture in style, and so he’s decided to hire a top of the range Lamborghini sports car to make the deliveries on the first night of business.

The Lamborghini is as Italian as spaghetti bolognaise and Pavarotti so what better way is there to launch a brand new Italian takeaway and delivery service than to hire the £150,000 supercar to perform deliveries to mark the launch of the new venture.

Restaurant owner Alberto Valotta admitted the idea came from his young son, Orlando, who suggested hiring the bright yellow sports car to advertise the launch of the Italian restaurant’s new delivery service.

The restaurant, which will offer a delivery service for its entire menu including pasta dishes and pizzas, hired the luxury sports car at the cost of £700 for the night. With a top speed of 200mph, you can bet your delivery will arrive speedily and piping hot.

As well as marking the launch of the new service, the restaurant is also celebrating their 12 year anniversary this week.

Lamborghini pizza and Italian cuisine deliveries are only available in the Hemel Hempstead area this Friday. Customers can also benefit from a 10% discount on their first delivery order, although we suspect this service will be especially busy tomorrow night so if you want your meal delivered in a Lamborghini, you’d better order quickly.
