Domino's Pizza in Swindon moves to larger premises

Domino’s Pizza in Swindon now has a brand new home after the store moved two doors up the street to its new base.

For 20 years Swindon’s Domino’s Pizza store stood in the same place in the Old Town, but due to the constant demand for freshly cooked pizza, the franchisee Siggy Wilberg decided it was time the outlet moved to a larger premises.

The new pizza store in Swindon is four times bigger than the previous outlet and it’s been fully equipped with state of the art equipment including a plasma screen to keep pizza customers entertained while they wait for their order, as well as a viewing gallery where customers can watch their pizzas being made by the expert staff.

It’s been a very exciting year for the franchisee of the Swindon branch, Siggy Wilberg. The businessman, who has worked with Domino’s for 22 years, was awarded the Gold Franny at the Domino’s Pizza awards ceremony held in Las Vegas earlier this year. The Gold Franny is awarded to franchisees who typify the core values of Domino’s which includes putting people first, demonstrating integrity, contributing to the overall success of the brand, and of course, serving up great pizza.

Mr Wilberg was presented with his award in front of 6,000 at the Las Vegas ceremony and he described the moment as a “real honour.” However the ambitious businessman says he’s can’t wait to get started at his store’s new premises and to continue to provide the people of Swindon with delicious freshly made pizza.
