The newly opened Domino’s Pizza outlet in Pontyclun is going down well with the locals, and not just because of the delicious freshly made pizza they serve.

The bosses at the new store have kindly agreed to sponsor Pontyclun Rugby Club. The move allows the new Domino’s branch to contribute to the community in a positive way, as the rugby club is central to life in Pontyclun.

Domino’s Pontyclun will sponsor the under 16’s team’s tour of Italy, and they’ve also provided sponsorship for the official Pontyclun rugby club calendar for the coming year (2011). The under 16’s team were also part of the celebrations for Domino’s Pizza Pontyclun’s grand opening as the side posed for photos wearing their hoodies, which were provided by their Domino’s sponsor.

Pontyclun RFC are extremely grateful for the sponsorship from the newly opened Domino’s store, and are encouraging their players to show their appreciation to their generous sponsor by ordering pizzas from the new outlet as often as possible.

If the sponsorship is a success, Domino’s Pizza in Pontyclun has expressed interest in possibly providing future kit sponsorship for the club as well.

This is just one of the ways in which Domino’s Pizza franchises are supporting local organisations by giving back to the community they serve. For more information on Domino’s Pizza in Pontyclun, their sponsorship of the Rugby team and discount deals in store, please see the following link
