Domino’s Pizza Delivers NEW JOBS to ABERYSTWYTH

- Employment opportunities produced in Wales –

Domino’s, the local pizza delivery expert, is set to create around 25-30 full and part-time jobs when it opens its new store in the town of Aberystwyth.  The store is due to open at the end of March.  Domino’s Pizza is recruiting within the community for trainee managers, trainee pizza makers, customer service representatives and delivery experts. Kerry Lloyd, marketing manager for the new store, said: “We are looking forward to opening a new store in Aberystwyth and to employing people who live in the community that we’ll be serving.”

Domino’s Pizza believes in opportunities for all. The company is an Age Positive Employer Champion, which means that it has been recognised for its commitment to welcoming applicants of all ages. Domino’s will be recruiting on the basis of ability and, as many team members go on to management positions in under two years, this recruitment drive is a fantastic opportunity for jobseekers in Aberystwyth.

At induction, as well as throughout their career, Domino’s offers its employees full training, ranging from dough management and food hygiene for pizza makers through to road safety for pizza delivery experts. Domino’s always recruits from the surrounding area and, with an additional focus on developing strong community links, aims to deliver more than just great tasting pizza. In particular, Domino’s supports Special Olympics Great Britain (SOGB) on both a national and local level.  SOGB provides people with learning disabilities opportunities to take part in year-round sports training and competition.
