Dominos Pizza is the largest and most successful pizza delivery chain, renowned for offering job opportunities to the masses. The huge firm invests in people, providing careers with great prospects for employees.
The CEO at the firm shocked the nation, revealing that he was leaving his position, stepping down to travel down a different occupational path.
“Lance has been offered a new role in a significant private equity backed company and as a result has tendered his resignation. His new company operates in a non-competing sector,” Domino’s Chairman Stephen Hemsley said in a statement.
Domino’s said Batchelor would stay with the firm until April 30 2014, revealing that they are on the search of a replacement CEO.
Chairman Stephen Hemsley said: “Lance has been offered a new role in a significant private equity backed company and as a result has tendered his resignation.
“His new company operates in a non-competing sector. We are sorry to be losing Lance and thank him for his contribution to the continued growth of our business over the last three years.”
Hemsley added that the search is underway to find a successor, with Batchelor staying on until April to ensure “an orderly handover”.
“We wish Lance every success in his new role,” he concluded.
