Two South Wales based Domino’s Pizza stores, Tonypandy and Pontyclun, are enjoying enviable success thanks to their high online presence and integration into social media. Both stores opened in the last year and have gone from strength to strength, helped in part by sophisticated online marketing strategies through their websites and Facebook and Twitter profiles.

Domino’s Pizza in Tonypandy and Pontyclun recruited the services of innovative website rental company, Web Leasing, ahead of their store openings. The team at Web Leasing created bespoke website especially for each branch preparing everything from the domain and hosting, to images and text content.

Each of the SEO websites are supported by sophisticated search engine optimisation techniques which ensure that both sites rank on page one of natural result lists on all major search engines such as Google and Yahoo for keywords related to the local area. Research has shown that online users are more likely to click on a link which appears in the natural results list as opposed to a link which appears on the sponsored links at the top of the page as companies listed here have paid for their position and are less likely to offer information related to the keyword search.

Tonypandy site: http://www.website-leasing.co.uk/sites/Dominos-Pizza-Tonypandy.htm

Pontyclun site: http://www.website-leasing.co.uk/sites/Dominos-Pizza-Pontyclun.htm

In addition to creating the websites for Domino’s Tonypandy and Pontyclun, Web Leasing also provide social media management for both businesses helping to create an online community in the local areas of both branches. By launching special offers, regular competitions and keeping fans of the Pontyclun and Tonypandy’s Facebook and Twitter pages up to date on the <a href="http://www.pizzanews.co.uk/"title="" >latest news through their online profiles has helped maintain interest in the stores and maintain customer loyalty at the two branches.

Web Leasing’s expertise in social media management and in creating highly effective SEO websites presents a great opportunity for other Domino’s franchisees who want to boost their online profile and promote their store in their local area. A variety of highly desirable web rental and social media management packages for businesses are available through Web Leasing, get in touch today for more information.

A brand new Domino’s Pizza outlet is coming to Tonypandy with a provisional opening date scheduled for this April.

Work has already started transforming two former takeaways on Tonypandy’s Dunraven Street into one large Domino’s Pizza store. The launch of the new <a href="http://www.dominos.co.uk/ourstores/Pontyclun.aspx"title="" >pizza delivery outlet spells good news for the South Wales town as it will bring 30 new jobs to the area including positions for store managers, team leaders, pizza making jobs, roles for customer advisers and delivery drivers.

Tej Randeva, franchisee of the new Domino’s store in Tonypandy, said: “We’re looking to employ people who live in the community that we’ll be serving. First and foremost, we’ll be looking for people who can deliver great customer service and demonstrate strong teamwork skills, as well as boundless enthusiasm. It’s also vital to be able to maintain a sense of fun while working under pressure.”

Tej, the 30 year old businessman who opened the Pontyclun outlet in October of 2009. Wales International rugby star Ryan Jones cut the ribbon at the official opening of the Pontyclun store, and a similar high profile grand opening ceremony is planned for the new Tonypandy branch, so keep in touch for more details.

A Facebook page dedicated to the new Tonypandy Domino’s store has just been launched. The social media page will allow Tonypandy residents the chance to keep up to date on the <a href="http://www.pizzanews.co.uk/"title="" >latest news from the new store including employment opportunities, official opening date, and special discount codes and special introductory offers so fans of Domino’s Tonypandy Facebook page can sample pizzas for less.

Domino’s Tonypandy will commence a recruitment driven within the coming weeks ahead of the store’s official opening in the South Wales town this spring.

To keep up with updates please join the Facebook page here: http://www.facebook.com/DominosTonypandy

Domino’s Pizza, the <a href="http://www.dominos.co.uk/ourstores/Pontyclun.aspx"title="" >pizza delivery expert, has been crowned the country’s top pizza delivery chain by the Pizza, Pasta and Italian Food Association (PAPA). The prestigious PAPA awards recognise the industry’s leading takeaways, restaurants and suppliers.

The Pizza Delivery Chain of the Year award recognises operators who are successfully driving the delivery and takeaway sector. It is open to companies with more than five stores, and acknowledges the highest standards in overall operation, ranging from customer service and food quality to delivery to the customer and new product development. In addition, the award also seeks to find pizza delivery businesses that are positively driving the market.

Domino’s Pizza was presented the award, based on its continued impressive growth, ambitious future plans and relentless focus on the highest quality, fresh ingredients and best possible customer service.

Andy Hirst, head of franchise development at Domino’s, said: “We are delighted to have been crowned pizza delivery chain of the year. This is a fantastic achievement, which is made even more special as we’re celebrating our 25th anniversary this year. The current climate has created tough times for many in the industry, but we’ve always stuck to our guns and made sure we deliver not only the tastiest, highest quality pizzas to our customers but also great service too. This award is testament to the ongoing hard work and dedication of the entire Domino’s team.”
Celebrating 25 successful years in the UK, Domino’s Pizza currently has 643 stores in the UK and Republic of Ireland and plans to open 55 new stores annually.

<a href="http://www.pizzanews.co.uk/"title="" >Pizza News has obtained exclusive access to a video detailing the transformation of the one-of-a-kind Domino’s Ferrari.

The luxurious sports car was transformed into a Domino’s Ferrari using vinyl wrap. The top of the range vehicle played an integral role in the grand opening of the UK’s latest Domino’s Pizza store in Pontyclun, South Wales, earlier this month.

The video (above) shows the sleek black Ferrari Spyder 360 being transformed piece by piece using a technique known as vinyl wrap which can last up to 8 years, but can be taken off at any time without causing any damage to the car’s original exterior.

The once black sports car now features a white background with a giant Domino’s Pizza logo across the bonnet, and a massive pizza across the rear of the car. The Ferrari was chosen for use in the advertising campaign for the new Domino’s Pizza store in Pontyclun to demonstrate the outlet’s dedication to providing the fastest home <a href="http://www.dominos.co.uk/ourstores/Pontyclun.aspx"title="" >pizza delivery service in South Wales (while keeping within speed limits, obviously!)

Wales rugby captain, Ryan Jones who was guest of honour at the grand opening of Domino’s Pizza Pontyclun, also posed alongside the unique Domino’s Ferrari as part of the new store’s opening celebrations.

Check out the video available on Pizza News now and see the Ferrari transformation for yourself.

Domino’s Pizza in Pontyclun is hours away from opening the doors to its brand new store, and to ensure the message gets out loud and clear across South Wales, a luxury Ferrari covered with Domino’s branding will be touring the area.

The new Domino’s Pizza Pontyclun store has had a luxury Ferrari Spyder 360 vinyl wrapped with a giant logo on the bonnet and Domino’s branding on the rear of the vehicle. Vinyl wrapping vehicles for advertising purposes is a strategy many businesses employ, however this kind of branding is usually seen on vans on buses, never top of the range luxury Ferrari’s.

The use of the speedy sports car in Domino’s Pizza Pontyclun’s advertising campaign is a deliberate choice. The new pizza outlet wants to send out the message that they provide the fastest <a href="http://www.dominos.co.uk/ourstores/Pontyclun.aspx"title="" >pizza delivery service in the whole of the South Wales area (without speeding), as one of the speediest modes of transport around, the Ferrari seemed the perfect choice to help advertise the new pizza outlet’s goal.

Domino’s Pizza in Pontyclun is due to celebrate its official launch on Monday October 4th where the Welsh international rugby union rugby player, Ryan Jones who plays for the Ospreys, will open the doors to the public. So if you live in the South Wales area, get down to the new pizza store to be the first to sample the delicious freshly made pizzas on offers. Plus the official Domino’s Ferrari will be unveiled for the very first time at the grand opening, so for the chance to get up close to the one-of-a-kind sports car, get down to Pontyclun this Monday.

Customers of Domino’s Pizza in Swindon Old Town will be getting their pizzas delivered from a brand new store – just two doors away from the existing site – when the store moves to new premises in Swindon Old Town High Street.

The new store comes complete with a large viewing area so customers can watch their pizzas being made. There’s also a plasma screen in the carry out area to keep customers amused while they are waiting for their pizzas and, overall, the new store is four times larger.

The new store opening is the latest in a line of exciting events for franchisee Siggy Wilberg. Following on from his advertising campaign in the Spring, which saw him offer the residents of Swindon a £9.99 delivered pizza for a nine week period, Siggy was awarded a Gold Franny at the Domino’s Pizza worldwide awards in Las Vegas in July. The Gold Franny is awarded to franchisees that exemplify the Domino’s guiding principles (which include demanding integrity, putting people first and making great pizzas every day) and contribute to the overall success of the brand.

Siggy said: “I’m just so excited about my new store. We have been operating out of the old site for 20 years now – and it was just not big enough. It is great to be moving to another site so close too and my team are delighted that they won’t be falling over each other anymore!

“I’ve been with Domino’s for 22 years and it was fantastic to be recognised by my colleagues in the USA with a Gold Franny. It’s a real honour and to be presented with it in front of 6,000 people in Las Vegas was just amazing.

“It’s been a great year for us – and the award and now the new store just bring it to an incredible climax. I can’t wait to get up and running in the new store and continue to build our business and serve the good people of Swindon with delicious, piping-hot Domino’s Pizza.”

Nigel Wray, the entrepreneur who sits on the board of Domino’s Pizza, has sold more than £9m in shares in the <a href="http://www.dominos.co.uk/ourstores/Pontyclun.aspx"title="" >pizza delivery company.

He offloaded 2m shares at 470p a time, benefitting from a strong rise in the share price since his last big sale of shares. Back in June he pocketed nearly £17m as he sold 4.7m shares at 360p a go.

Domino’s Pizza has proved to be one of the most recession-proof stocks on the market, benefitting from people’s tendency to seek small comforts as they cut back on more expensive luxuries.

In July the company posted a 30% rise in half-year profits to £17m as revenues soared.

Domino’s has been rewarding its senior staff for the strong performance. It announced today that it has allocated more than 1.1m shares among chief executive Chris Moore, chief financial officer Lee Ginsberg and Gareth Franks, a director of the company’s main operating subsidiary.

Domino’s Pizza is a spin-off of the US company of the same name. It operates over 550 stores in Britain and Ireland. One of the most recent store opening annoucement was featured this week in <a href="http://www.pizzanews.co.uk/"title="" >Pizza News to be Domino’s Pizza in Pontyclun, South Wales.

Wray still has about 18.3m shares in Domino’s, about 11.35% of the company. He also has stakes in several other companies, and is the chairman of Saracens Rugby Club.

A hot and scrumptious breakfast in bed is fantasy of many. This dream will now come true for the citizens of Central Manchester as Domino’s is all set to deliver delicious sausages, sweetcured back bacons, egg subs, piping hot Lavazza coffee and also everyone’s favorite pizzas at your doorstep! The store will be open 24 hours, 7 days a week and you can get a breakfast sub and coffee just for £7.99 or £14.00

According to Steve Cubittt, the store manager (who is also the current Domino’s International Manager of the Year), there was a huge demand for the tempting Domino’s breakfast. So the store which was already open till 5 am extended their opening hours to include the very appealing ‘breakfast in bed’ service. He added that all the citizens and office workers in Central Manchester can now order breakfast (pizzas too!) and it will be delivered to them.

Domino’s has been experimenting its new breakfast subs since 16th August 2010 throughout the Manchester area.

A combination of sweetcured back bacon, egg or sausage is available with the breakfast sub along with a sachet of Heinz Tomato Ketchup and HP Sauce. The breakfast is delivered to anyone within the limit of the Manchester City Centre store’s delivery area. If the breakfast is collected from the store it will cost only £4.99 or £7.99 if delivered. Order Yummy Pizza in Manchester from www.dominos.co.uk and for more information you can contact the store at 0161 273 5666.

The Italian pizza and pasta restaurant chain, Prezzo, has revealed its intention to revive its development plans after reporting very healthy pre-tax profits in the first 6 months of the year.

The restaurant chain also revealed that it’s struck a deal worth over £3 million to take over 11 Cafe Uno stores in the UK and also the brand trademark. Prezzo say the deal will enable them to open outlets in highly desirable locations in the UK.

All 11 of the acquired sites will be completely refurbished and rebranded as part of Prezzo’s ambitious expansion plans to boost the chain’s profile across the country.

As well as the Cafe Uno takeover, Prezzo is also planning to open a further three new restaurants, two of which are in Scotland namely Glasgow and Aberdeen, and the third in Milton Keynes. At present, Prezzo currently has 145 restaurants in operation in the UK.

Bosses at Prezzo say they have been “encouraged by the level of trading” of late to continue with their plans for expansion. Last week the pizza and pasta restaurant chain revealed their pre-tax profits had risen from £5.1 million to £6 million in the last 6 months to June and an 11% rise in revenue to £48.4 million during the same time period.
