Encouraged by the strong sales reported by both Domino’s and Pizza hut in recent months, Papa John’s have also launched an iPhone application to help develop online sales from mobile devices.

The new application offers Papa John customers the chance to browse their pizza menu via their iPhone, and also place and customise their orders easily and quickly.

Papa John’s Pizza launched their mobile website back in 2008 which has been well received, however the new Apple app will offer all of the same services as the mobile website and more.

The new application allows customers to log-in to their own personal account and order the ahead of time, from their express menu, earn Papa Points via the company’s reward scheme, and also a favourites feature whereby the items you order most often will be stored for your convenience.

Both Domino’s and Pizza Hut have reported very strong sales via their pizza apps, with Domino’s revealing a third of all orders were received via their iPhone applications during 2010. Papa John’s will no doubt be hoping to replicate the success of its competitors with their brand new mobile phone app.

Papa John’s is famed for its attention to detail in offering pizzas made with fresh dough and the best ingredients. The pizza chain currently boasts 610 outlets globally through their franchise system.
