Budding rugby players in Pontyclun have received an added boost thank to sponsorship from the new Domino’s Pizza store, which opened in the town last month.

The new Domino’s store on Cowbridge Road is sponsoring Pontyclun Rugby Club’s Under 16s team tour of Spain, which is taking place in April 2011 and includes two competitive fixtures in the Barcelona area. In addition, Domino’s has also provided funding for the Club’s 2011 calendar.

We’d like to wish the Under 16s all the very best for the forthcoming tour and look forward to celebrating their victorious return with a Pepperoni Passion or two!”

Mal Gibson, team manager of Pontyclun Rugby Club Under 16′s, said: “Like all clubs and groups, we need the support of local businesses to keep going and I’m delighted to welcome Domino’s on board. We hope this is the start of a great relationship with Domino’s and look forward to working with them on other local initiatives.”

Pontyclun Rugby Club’s will be on sale shortly from the Clubhouse.
