All under 16’s girls football teams in the county of Worcestershire will be celebrating this week after it was announced that their local branch of Domino’s Pizza in Worcester will be sponsoring the teams throughout the 2010/11 season.

Domino’s Pizza in Worcester has kindly offered to sponsor the girls’ school football teams in the county so as to help support the local community. Antil Patil is the franchisee of the Domino’s Pizza outlet in Worcester and is delighted to be sponsoring the local schools in this way as he said:

“As a local store, we’re very keen to deliver more to our community and are delighted to support the Worcestershire Schools girls football team.” Mr Patil added, “We’d like to wish them all the very best and look forward to celebrating what we hope will be a great season for them with a Pepperoni Passion or two!”

The sponsorship offer from Domino’s has been well received by the schools in the county, with PE teacher, Gary Barrell from Nunnery Wood High School, describing the support of the Domino’s Worcester branch as providing a “great boost to the team.”

Domino’s Pizza likes to encourage its franchisees all over the UK to get involved with their local neighbourhood by sponsoring sports teams and other organisation in order to help support their community. Only last month we reported that Domino’s Pizza Pontyclun in South Wales had agreed to sponsor their local youth rugby team at Pontyclun RFC.
